Building trust through reliable data
Raffinerie Heide GmbH
Located in Northern Germany, Heide refinery, part of Klesh group, onboarded Sigmafine technology around 10 years ago with the aim of building trust in the financing parties by exposing a reliable inventory position by product and ownership.
Accurate feed composition and feed rates to the crude distillers are vital. This has been achieved at first by providing visibility of crude stocks to improve inventory reporting and refinery planning, through the application of composition tracking. Secondly, the full accounting model has been developed at the unit level allowing better coordination among the different actors through a well-defined workflow. Finally, Sigmafine supports the auditing of external authorities, especially in regards to ethanol balance.
Raffinerie Heide is continuously improving the usage of Sigmafine and recently adopted SigmafineHub.
